Profile

Walk With Petty Organization is a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the landscape of domestic tourism in Tanzania. We believe that walking is the most intimate way to experience a culture and its environment. By blending professional tour guiding with social impact, we create meaningful journeys that benefit both the visitor and the local community.

Founded on the principles of hospitality and heritage, we guide our guests through the hidden gems of our landscapes while ensuring that every step taken contributes to the preservation of our environment and the empowerment of vulnerable groups.

2. Our Vision & Mission

• Our Vision: To be the leading organization in providing unique walking experiences that bridge the gap between visitors and local cultures while elevating community livelihoods.

• Our Mission: To promote sustainable domestic and walking tourism through professionalism, warm hospitality, and direct support for social and environmental projects.

3. What We Do.

Sustainable Walking Tours

We offer curated walking tours that immerse guests in the natural beauty and rich cultural history of our regions. Our tours are designed to be low-impact on the environment but high-impact on the soul.

Environmental Stewardship

The planet is our office. We are committed to educating both locals and visitors on the vital importance of conservation, ensuring that the trails we walk today remain pristine for generations to come.

Community Upliftment

We believe in sharing the fruits of tourism. A percentage of our proceeds goes directly toward supporting orphans, people with disabilities, and other marginalized groups within the communities we visit.

4. Why Walk With Us?

• Authenticity: Experience culture through the eyes of the locals, not through a car window.

•

• Social Impact: Your journey directly funds education and support for those in need.

•

• Eco-Friendly: We promote carbon-neutral travel that respects nature.

•

• Professionalism: Our guides are trained to provide safe, educational, and unforgettable experiences.

5. Meet the Team

Guided by passion, led by purpose. Our team consists of dedicated individuals who are experts in tourism, community development, and environmental conservation.
